As the South African interior design partne to this Upmarket Restaurant Design Project, Premiere Design Studio was commissioned to bring a unique, international design concept to life for an upmarket restaurant in Design Quarter. The brief was to create something completely different from anything seen in South Africa before. To achieve this, we collaborated closely with Greek designer Alex from Workroom 2, whose conceptual vision formed the foundation of the restaurant’s bold and innovative theme.

 

The finished space spans 780sqm and features a downstairs dining area with a spacious outdoor section, complete with a retractable roof and heavy-duty electric blinds. These blinds serve as side walls when the weather doesn’t cooperate, offering flexibility while maintaining the overall design aesthetic. Our team was responsible for translating the design vision into a functional, stylish, and comfortable dining environment, ensuring every detail contributed to the unique atmosphere of the restaurant.
